Drug Awareness Red Ribbon Week
We won the door decorating contest!

Students will do Drug Free Pledge as a class.
Students will place a Red Ribbon outside door after they have signed the pledge. We will pledge not to use illegal drugs. Parents, 1. Parental engagement is the single most potent weapon in preventing substance abuse among youth. 2. During dinner, trun off the tv and phone. 3. Help your child with homework. 4. Read to your child everyday. 5. Play board games. 6. Always share stories at the end of the day. |
Students will be allowed to wear their favorite book character costume.

8:00- Pledge to the American Flag
8:15 Math will be estimating how many seeds in the pumpkin.
Counting the pumpkin seeds.
For measurement we will be weighing and measuring the pumpkins.
9:00 P.E. Story Book Parede- will go outside and walk around the school
10:40 Lunch
11:15 Spanish Language Arts- comparison of the United States tradition of trick or treating to Mexico’s tradition for the Day of the Dead.
1:00 English Spanish Arts- will practice Halloween vocabulary
